Taking him out of the business aspect of this, we wanted the world to know a little more about what makes this CEO tick.
Number One Lesson Learned from Being an NCAA basketball player at North Carolina? Some of my favorite lessons are from our coach, Roy Williams. “Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm” is a favorite quote/lesson…we have it on the wall here in our office. I really believe the culture of a team and company can be built around enthusiasm and being a happy group. It translates to client service, so I try to bring enthusiasm to our office every day.
The best part of growing up in Philadelphia? The passion for sports, the history of the city and all my family there. My Mom is from there, and my Dad grew up in Manhattan – so two of America’s oldest and greatest cities are in my blood.
Your all-time favorite watch: Rolex Everose Oyster Sky-Dweller, 42mm with Brown strap and white dial
The car you’re into: I love Bentley’s latest version of the GT Convertible. It’s stunning.
Favorite TV/Cable Series Recommendation: My wife and I love Game of Thrones and Billions, we really enjoyed Jack Ryan on Amazon recently, too.
The most embarrassing song you love: Titanic theme song by Celine Dion…takes me back!
Craziest Thing You’ve Experienced as the CEO: Probably getting our first international deal done…working with a client in Switzerland. That really signaled to me that we could build a global brand here.
The best part of being CEO: It’s our team and our culture of service. We really take pride in caring for our clients, and we have proven that it works b/c we have a 74% repeat business rate. 3 out of 4 of our clients come back to us again. We take a lot of satisfaction from that stat b/c it’s quantitative confirmation that all our efforts are meaningful.
